Policies & Procedures
We’re all human. At LWC, we understand life has a way of sneaking up on us. That said, respecting each other's time is very important to us. These lessons are amazingly rewarding for our instructors but they're also a source of income. LWC is a small business run by one person who puts a lot of time and energy into crafting the best experience for everyone involved. For that reason and in an attempt to discourage tardiness/late cancellations, extra fees are due when applicable.
Thank you for understanding and respecting Lessons With Ceili’s Terms and Policies! If you have any questions or concerns please let us know, we are more than happy to help!
Payment & Billing
-
Payment must be received to secure your lesson slot.
-
If no payment is provided the lesson slot will remain open for others to book.
-
Recurring lessons are booked through a monthly plan.
-
Payment must be made on the 1st of every month.
-
Since each month has a different amount of days you will receive a bill request through whichever payment method you prefer (We accept Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, or PayPal - Some fees may apply depending on which payment method you decide to use.)
-
The bill amount will depend on how many lessons fit into that month, your lesson length, and if you are taking weekly/bi-weekly lessons.
-
If you are not from the US please make sure to convert your currency to USD.
-
For more information regarding payment for one-time Written and Virtual, Lyrical Analysis go here.
Late Payment
-
If your first payment is not fulfilled before the lesson there is no assumption that the lesson is still booked.
-
If you fail to provide payment before the first of the month for re-occurring lessons you are still responsible for full payment, and will be charged an additional late-payment fee of $5.00 per extra day until the full payment is acquired.
Attendance
If, for any reason, you need to cancel your lesson or are running late, please let us know as soon as you are aware so that we can plan accordingly, reschedule, and/or let others know of the new availability.
We will always let you know at least a week in advance if a lesson needs to be rescheduled. In the event a lesson is missed due to something on our end, no additional charge will be necessary and an honest effort will be made to find the best available make-up time.
Tardiness
-
Please inform us at your earliest convenience if you know you will be late for the lesson.
-
If we do not hear from you and you do not show up before the halfway point of the planned lesson time, it will be considered a No-Show.
-
If you show up after the halfway point, the instructor is not required to stay available for the remaining half of the lesson.
Holidays
-
Please reference our 2024 calendar for all holiday closures.
-
If there is a holiday you celebrate and would like to reschedule or cancel a lesson please let us know a month in advance so the billing can reflect that.
-
We send out a reminder email before every lesson but if you are unsure if we are open, contact us so we can clear up any confusion.
Cancelations
-
If you have to cancel and do not provide notice 24 hours before the lesson, there is no refund.
-
If you do provide notice of cancellation before the 24-hour mark, you will be given a make-up credit pass that expires within 30 days. An honest effort will be made to reschedule within the same week of the cancellation.
No Show
-
If you do not show up for a lesson, there is no refund.
-
If you show up after the halfway point of your lesson, the instructor is not required to finish the lesson with you and there is no refund.
Withdrawal
-
Since billing occurs on the 1st of every month all withdrawals need to be submitted before the new month begins. We ask clients to fill out the form by the 25th of their last month.
-
The withdrawal form and more information can be found here.
