About Ceili
The Full Story
Meet Ceili (pronounced kay-lee) Spaulding, the passionate music educator behind Lessons With Ceili.

Ceili’s musical journey began early, with guitar lessons starting at age 11, piano at 13, and singing as soon as she could talk. Throughout high school in Maine, she immersed herself in the music scene, participating in Choir, Chamber Singers, District and All-Star concerts, Open Mics, Talent Shows, and various solo performances. By her junior year, she had even recorded and produced her debut album.

In 2015, Ceili was awarded a scholarship to Berklee College of Music, where she pursued a degree in Songwriting, graduating in 2019. During the quarantine period, she expanded her expertise by earning a Music Business Specialization Certificate from Berklee Online. In February 2021, she launched Lessons With Ceili, discovering a deep sense of fulfillment in teaching.
Her time at Berklee was marked by studying under esteemed instructors such as Pat Pattison and Erin Barra, the latter of whom inspired Ceili to pursue teaching. Her Berklee experience was rich with performances at Open Mics, Electronic Night Events, peer collaborations, and enjoying basement shows with her friends in the Boston area.

Following her move to the tri-state area in May 2021, Ceili taught piano, guitar, voice, and songwriting at a local music school, instructing over 40 students of all ages, from 5 to 65! She released her single, "Oh Edison," in October 2021 before later relocating to Rhode Island, and continued teaching. In May 2024, she returned to her home state of Maine, where she is proud to expand her teaching instruction locally!

Through Lessons With Ceili, she aims to create a supportive and creative space where students can develop their musical talents. She tailors each lesson to meet individual needs, emphasizing the importance of consistent practice and setting achievable goals. Ceili has had the pleasure of working with students from around the globe virtually —Mexico, Canada, the UK, and various states in the US—welcoming learners of all ages and skill levels.
